Dr. Alexandre Oudalov leads Hitachi Energy's Power Systems of the Future program, overseeing a research team that analyses the mid- and long-term impacts of global power system transformation. His work focuses on the integration of renewable energy, distributed energy resources, sector coupling, and digitalization. In addition to his role at Hitachi Energy, Dr. Oudalov actively contributes to the industry as a convener and expert in several CIGRE working groups. His research has resulted in over 50 journal and conference publications, along with 15 granted patents. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
