Als einziger europäischer Solarmarkt mit einem jährlichen Zubau im zweistelligen Gigawattbereich muss Deutschland sich dennoch anstrengen, um die ehrgeizigen PV-Ziele für 2030 zu erreichen. Mit über 100 GW Gesamtleistung zum Jahreswechsel steht das Land nun vor einer weiteren Herausforderung: In nur sechs Jahren soll sich diese auf 215 GW mehr als verdoppeln und bis 2040 sogar auf 400 GW steigen. Aber sind diese Ziele mit einer neuen Regierung, einer begrenzten Energieinfrastruktur und der gedämpften Stimmung in der Wirtschaft überhaupt realisierbar?

Tobias Reuther earned his Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on Energy Technology at the University of Applied Sciences Kempten and has been working at Fraunhofer ISE in the "Energy Systems and Energy Economics" group since 2021. He primarily focuses on energy system modeling, particularly on decarbonization options for industrial companies and the evaluation of energy data related to photovoltaic and battery storage systems, especially concerning electricity generation and the self-consumption of PV systems.

Mario holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation Engineering, which he completed with a thesis at Northwestern University in the U.S., and an MBA from Mannheim Business School.

Juliane Hinsch is Head of Concentrated Solar at BSW - German Solar Association and focusing on industrial decarbonization and district heating. Previously, she served as Managing Director of the German Association for Concentrated Solar Power before its merger with BSW. An economist by training, Juliane has extensive expertise in solar markets and policy frameworks. She played a key role in promoting the sector's international activities by leading the Coordination Office of the German Energy Solutions Initiative, a governmental program supporting international renewable energy cooperation. Earlier in her career, she helped establish the solar industry in Italy as a project leader for renewable energy at the German-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
